Meet Anni & Emily
Anni Kamola
Emily H. Cox
Anni:
My name is Anni (Anneliese) Kamola (she/her pronouns). I am an author, developmental editor, and writing coach living in Bellingham, WA on the traditional land of the Lummi and Nooksack people.
I have studied storytelling and the creative process for over 25 years and have MFA in Creative Writing from Western Washington University. I have contributed editing services to 15 published books.
My personal writing and storytelling explore reoccurring themes of the body, lineage, womanhood, healing, and the wild.
Emily:
I am an editor and writer from Kansas City, MO. I hold an MFA in Creative Writing from Western Washington University and a BA from Macalester College in Cultural Studies. I covered arts & culture for Kansas City’s The Pitch for four years. During grad school, I taught first-year English to college students.
I love getting into the nitty-gritty of writing: not just eliminating errors, but also finding just the right word or phrase to light up the page.
My best friend is my dog, Apollo.
